How to complete work on Google Classroom

Absent due to family illness / Covid-19

If a child is off because there is a suspected case of Covid-19 within the family, the school should be notified as soon as possible. The child and their siblings should stay at home and self-isolate until a positive or negative result of Covid-19 is known. We ask that families try and book a test as soon as possible to ensure as little education for a child is lost. As soon as the results of a test are known, please promptly contact the school so the appropriate provision may be made.

The school will not provide work for children unless the test of a family member has come back as positive and the family is required to self-isolate for a further 14 days.

If your child feels well enough:

Your child will use the Oak Academy resources to complete their virtual lessons for each week. Once on Oak Academy select lessonsschedulechange year to the correct year group, and follow the scheme learning for each day of the week.  They will need a notebook, pencil, and a designated space for their home learning to help ensure they are successful. Please click here to access Oak Academy resources
